About Us Established since 1929, ALVANCE British Aluminium, part of the GFG Alliance, owns and operates the last remaining aluminium production plant (smelter) in the UK and a connected hydropower electricity generation station located on the slopes of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. This is a 12hr shift based role, following a set pattern of dayshift and nightshift and we operate 24/7 all year round. If you have transferable skills, enjoy working with your hands and ideally worked in manufacturing or production before - this is a job for you.
