THE ROLE: Representing our client in their homecare division, you will be a part of a team focused within the community, at medical centres and schools. Responsible for assessing the needs of end users with the support of Occupational Therapists, you will focus on supplying the appropriate moving and handling equipment (hoists, slings, bathing equipment, transferring, slide sheets etc). You are the equipment specialist, the professional is the clinical specialist.
Your team will directly support the field sales reps. Day to day you will attend pre planned joint visits with Occupational Therapists and other local authority professionals, in a high activity and proactive role. Also attending exhibitions, training days and product evaluation days to increase your knowledge of medical devices and moving & handling techniques.

You will empower individuals with limited mobility, helping them regain their independence and enhance their quality of life by working with local authority community Occupational Therapy teams to resolve the moving and handling challenges of less able children and adults. They operate a number of regional service centres around the UK, ensuring customers are never too far from an engineer. 24/7 service packages to respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Moving and handling experience, such as MSK/physio, healthcare assistant, carer, personal trainer or medical engineer.
* Full driving licence
* Happy to travel daily across the territory and drive a transit van
THE PACKAGE:
* Basic Salary - £30,000 - £37,500
