Role Purpose

The Contracts Manager is responsible for leading the contractual, commercial, and administrative delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. This includes acting as the primary point of contact for Contract Coordinators, ensuring contractual compliance, and supporting project teams from tender handover through to project closure.


Key Responsibilities

* Contract Management & Compliance
o Review and interpret all project contract documentation.
o Communicate key obligations, milestones, and risks to project teams.
o Issue Notifications of Compensation Event (NCE) and Compensation Events (CE).
o Manage non-conformance reporting and resolutions.
o Lead negotiations with clients and subcontractors where required.
o Support insurance claim processes and defect rectification issues.
o Request Completion Certificates and manage retention release.
* Project Financial Management
o Review and validate project transactions.
o Accrue costs, investigate discrepancies, and forecast expenditure.
o Maintain cost forecast documents and report monthly to Finance.
o Monitor payment applications and ensure timely invoicing.
o Conduct post‑project cost reviews and provide feedback to the Bid Team.
o Support project audits and ensure correct allocation of costs.
* Client, Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement
o Act as a primary liaison for clients and subcontractors.
o Attend client meetings to review progress and resolve queries.
o Support cable and accessory ordering.
* Team Leadership & Coordination
o Lead Contract Coordinators and support project teams.
o Manage Project Engineer schedules.
o Provide monthly project updates to senior management.
o Ensure FATs are resourced appropriately.
* SHEQS Responsibilities
o Update monthly SHEQS KPIs.
o Participate in HSEQS initiatives.
o Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental legislation.
* Document Control Oversight
o Support document control operations.
o Ensure document lifecycle management and SharePoint uploads.


General Responsibilities

* Comply with all Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
* Report near misses and improvement suggestions.
* Support continuous improvement.
