Contract Information
This is a 6 month secondment/fixed‑term contract, part‑time 25 hours per week. Salary is advertised on a pro‑rata basis.
About the Role
You will deliver effective and efficient administrative support. You’ll be a key point of contact for both internal and external customers, helping to ensure our services run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with customers, promoting a positive image of the Council and resolving queries within your remit.
* Complete a wide range of administrative tasks using a suite of tailored software and machinery.
* Reprographic work including printing, copying, enveloping and scanning.
* Communicate and build relationships with external stakeholders and internal customers.
* Identify and recommend improvements within your role or team.
* Review your own work for accuracy and completeness.
About You
* Good communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
* Educated to GCSE/NVQ2 standard or equivalent, including English and Maths.
* Ability to juggle priorities effectively, often with conflicting demands.
* Team player; caring and helpful.
* Customer focused with a can‑do attitude.

Working Arrangements
