The primary objective of the Sustainability Scheme Manager is to support the Carbon & Sustainability Services Director, oversee team activities, ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory requirements, and help grow industry-leading sustainability services. The role involves raising the profile within existing and new client bases and across the sustainability sector. The role will evolve with NQA’s strategy in sustainability and will involve working across the entire NQA Carbon and Sustainability portfolio, including Chain of Custody, Supply Chain Services, and PEFC.
The role requires proactive engagement with the sector, management of four NQA management posts, and willingness to travel as needed.
Location:
Flexible: remote, on-site, or hybrid. Willingness to travel to offices, client sites, and other locations.
Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in environmental, sustainability, business management, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years’ certification or relevant industry experience.
* Interest and enthusiasm for sustainability and carbon verification schemes.
* Completion of relevant Lead Auditor/Verifier courses (EMS, EnMS, GHG, CoC/Supply Chain schemes).
