POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Salesperson - Software Licenses & Digital Services

Location: Beaufort Court, Admirals Way, London E14 9XL, United Kingdom

Employment Type: Contract

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Salary: Negotiable (Competitive package with performance-based incentives)

Reports To: Sales Director / Head of Sales


POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Salesperson to join our London team. This role requires a dynamic professional who can drive revenue growth across three core service lines: Microsoft software license reselling, e-commerce consultation services (Amazon, eBay, Shopify), and AI-powered digital content creation for social media, advertising, and video production.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software license sales and digital marketing services, with the ability to consultatively sell complex solutions to UK-based businesses while building long-term client relationships.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Software License Sales (Microsoft Reseller)

* Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients requiring Microsoft software licenses (Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Windows Server, etc.)
* Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
* Provide expert consultation on Microsoft licensing programs (CSP, EA, Open License, etc.)
* Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Microsoft product suite and licensing frameworks
* Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for license revenue
* Build strategic relationships with enterprise, SMB, and mid-market clients across London and the UK


E-Commerce Consultation Services Sales

* Sell comprehensive e-commerce consultation services for platforms including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento
* Conduct needs assessments to understand client e-commerce challenges and opportunities
* Present tailored solutions covering marketplace optimization, multi-channel strategy, inventory management, and conversion optimization
* Collaborate with technical teams to deliver client-specific e-commerce roadmaps
* Stay current with e-commerce platform updates, best practices, and industry trends


AI Digital Content Creation Services Sales

* Promote and sell AI-powered digital content creation services for social media marketing, advertising campaigns, and video production
* Demonstrate the value proposition of AI-driven content solutions to marketing directors, CMOs, and business owners
* Articulate technical capabilities in accessible business terms
* Identify opportunities for content creation services across industries (retail, hospitality, professional services, etc.)
* Package services into scalable offerings (monthly retainers, project-based engagements, enterprise contracts)


Client Relationship Management

* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and value delivery
* Conduct regular account reviews and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
* Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations
* Gather client feedback to inform service development and improvement


Sales Operations & Reporting

* Maintain accurate records in CRM system (pipeline management, forecasting, client interactions)
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
* Collaborate with marketing team on lead generation campaigns
* Monitor competitive landscape and market trends
* Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Experience

* Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in software licensing and/or digital marketing services
* Mandatory: Prior experience selling Microsoft software licenses as a reseller or partner
* Mandatory: Demonstrable track record in digital marketing services sales
* Experience with consultative, solution-based selling in B2B environment
* Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas


Skills & Knowledge

* Microsoft Licensing Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, CSP model, Enterprise Agreements, and licensing compliance
* E-Commerce Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, eBay for Business, Shopify, and multi-channel e-commerce strategies
* Digital Marketing Acumen: Understanding of social media marketing, content marketing, video marketing, and advertising principles
* AI Technology Awareness: Knowledge of AI applications in content creation, marketing automation, and digital services (advantageous)
* Sales Methodology: Experience with SPIN selling, Challenger Sale, or similar consultative frameworks
* Strong negotiation and closing skills with ability to handle complex sales cycles
* Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
* Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
* Strong business acumen and financial literacy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
* Microsoft certifications (Microsoft Partner, licensing specialist certifications)
* Existing client network in London/UK market
* Experience selling to enterprise accounts (500+ employees)
* Knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Sensei, Runway, etc.)
* Familiarity with digital content creation workflows and tools
* Multilingual capabilities (German language skills are a plus given company expansion goals)
