JOB – Field Service Engineer
LOCATION – Hampshire + UK wide travel when required
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £30,000 - £45,000
My client designs and manufactures Special Purpose Machinery for a global client base. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Experienced in a manufacturing environment working with machinery
* A background in servicing/commissioning would be beneficial
* Programming experience would also be beneficial
* Excellent communication skills with experience in a customer-facing role
* Able to work well under pressure
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
* Travelling to customer sites for commissioning, servicing and repair
* Working to given processes and procedures
* Occasionally training customers on new products and machinery
* Providing technical support
