An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest independent Insurance Brokers as Customer Service Representative. We are looking for someone who will support other colleagues in the team and work alongside clients ensuring high service levels are always delivered.
Our Customer Service Representatives are part of the first point of contact for all client and provider queries and issues as they arise and you will have the skills and knowledge to understand what actions are required to meet the expectations of all parties.
What you will do as a Customer Service Representative
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Working with your head of area you will develop your own objectives, focusing on the following and more:
* Provide office-based support for your assigned International Sales Consultant and the International team.
* Support the day-to-day running of the client portfolio, including all client and provider interactions.
* Set up and support actions for policy renewals.
* Develop, maintain and cultivate a constructive and professional relationship with Sales Consultants, Clients and Insurers at all levels.
* Be the first point of contact for day-to-day administration from clients, providers and other internal and external sources.
* Independently respond to queries from both clients and insurers in a pro-active manner, meeting agreed SLAs and keeping all parties updated.
* Coordinate administration of schemes, including invoicing, accounts, client queries, claims, underwriting, rehabilitation support services and communication material.
* Proactively initiate and manage the gathering of all relevant data for each client’s scheme renewal and ensure accuracy while assisting with data analysis as required.
* Proactively seek and recommend improvements to processes and service; participate in implementation within the team and be an advocate for change.
* Prepare template client reports as requested by the Sales Consultant.
* Ensure correspondence is checked for discrepancies and challenged as appropriate.
* Keep client records and in-house systems up to date, including new business, retention and financial information.
* Support Sales Consultants with new business opportunities, ensuring a first-class impression to the client.
