Job Description
3. Lead the development and implementation of SHE management systems aligned with legal and industry standards.
4. Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments across retrofit housing projects.
5. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
6. Deliver SHE training, toolbox talks, and guidance to teams and contractors.
7. Drive environmental initiatives including waste reduction and carbon footprint improvements.
8. Monitor and report SHE performance using KPIs for senior leadership.
9. Act as liaison with regulatory bodies such as HSE and local authorities.
10. Promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
11. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
12. Experience managing SHE in social housing refurbishment projects.
13. Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and compliance on notifiable projects.
14. Proven ability to implement SHE systems and lead safety initiatives.
15. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
16. Scaffold design and management qualification.
17. SMSTS certification.
