Job Description
3. Take ownership of a portfolio of non-food products, driving commercial delivery and performance
4. Lead supplier negotiations, securing competitive pricing structures and added value opportunities
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver category initiatives and promotional activity
6. Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent service and quality standards
7. Review market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for range enhancement
The Successful Applicant
A successful Non-Food Buyer should have:
8. Experience in a buying, procurement, or category role within non-food sectors (e.g. packaging, catering supplies, janitorial or cleaning products)
9. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and delivering value
10. Confident managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements
11. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally
12. Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities
