We are looking for an enthusiastic GP who will be a team player, keen to support and contribute to our programme of continuous improvements, helping us maintain and deliver our vision of high-quality medical services. The weekly expectations include proportional involvement in the on-call rota and enhanced access sessions, which may occasionally require Saturday work (approximately 2 per year). The weekly rota will be adjusted accordingly.

Job responsibilities
Primary key responsibilities
The core responsibilities of the Salaried GP include:
1. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
2. The provision of services in line with the primary care contract
3. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
4. Effective management of long-term conditions
5. Processing administration promptly, including referrals and repeat prescriptions
6. Rotational telephone triage and duty doctor roles
7. Maintaining accurate clinical records following best practice, policies, and guidance
8. Working collaboratively, sharing the practice workload equally
9. Adhering to clinical guidelines and participating in audits
10. Contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
11. Accepting delegated responsibilities for specific areas or QOF
12. Attending and contributing to practice meetings
13. Supporting clinical governance and training
14. Ensuring compliance with the appraisal process
15. Preparing and completing revalidation
16. Engaging in self-learning and promoting CPD within the team
17. Supporting medical student training
18. Assisting partners in strategic aims, income enhancement, and expenditure reduction
