We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Rye Hill, working as a Vocational Curriculum Manager. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information

HMP Rye Hill Prison is located in the rural setting of Willoughby, which is situated near Rugby in Warwickshire. It is a Category B prison that houses adult male inmates. The prison's regime, facilities, and support services are designed to address the diverse needs of its population, promoting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending rates. The prison's mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Hold a teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
Degree or equivalent (inclusive of equivalent life / career experience)
Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Have experience of, or an understanding of the nuances involved in, implementing continuous quality assurance procedures
Have a good track record of successful partnership working
Continuously demonstrate your ability to motivate and enthuse teams
Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet sometimes challenging deadlines and targets
Have an ability to analyse trends and identify impacts on curriculum
Have good IT Skills
