Commercial Business Development Manager
Up to 23 month fixed term Contract. Salary: Up to £61,000 + Excellent benefits + Car Allowance. Based in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Travel and hybrid working.
We have a great opportunity to become our Commercial Business Development Manager to continue to deliver the growth strategy for our non-appointed (Commercial) services, maximising commercial opportunities and identifying and developing new sales opportunities and business cases to meet targets.
Responsibilities
* Lead and work closely with teams across our business to identify and pursue business development opportunities with existing and potential clients.
* Provide knowledge about the range and detail of possible services to be offered, researching and developing new and innovative sales strategies and business cases in conjunction with the NWL marketing team.
* Set an appropriate budget for retention and growth, and monitor and report on monthly physical and financial performance.
* Develop a yearly business development strategy for non-appointed services to deliver P&L targets.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of delivering growth, business development and strategy creation and implementation in a commercial setting.
* Results-focused approach, successful in commercial negotiations, and ability to work in a target-oriented performance environment.
* Strong commercial background in business development or account management across any industry or sector.
* Experience of identifying, developing and delivering business development opportunities that maximize income potential from new and existing clients.
* Proven understanding of the sales cycle and use of evolving and innovative sales techniques and strategies, as well as marketing strategies and business cases.
* Excellent presentation skills and proven experience of building and enhancing the reputation of an organisation with external bodies and customers.
* Full and valid UK driving licence (role requires travel).
* DBS clearance required.
