We are seeking an energetic, hardworking, and compassionate professional to join our team and play a key role in managing our front desk operations. This individual will consistently demonstrate courtesy, professionalism, and respect in all interactions with customers, visitors, and colleagues. They must be capable of performing administrative duties efficiently and accurately, while offering support to various departments as needed. The ideal candidate will embody and uphold our four Core Values: People First Focused Passionate Always Advancing Key Responsibilities Meet, greet and sign in all visitors and contractors in a courteous and professional manner, confirm the purpose of their visit, and ensure they are promptly collected by their designated hosts. Answer incoming calls promptly, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette and providing helpful support. Prepare for each day and week by reviewing and anticipating scheduled visitor appointments. Support the organisation of meetings by arranging and booking rooms as and when required. Prepare, and envelope customer invoices and credits for posting. Receive and open incoming mail for all departments across the business. Organise outgoing mail for all departments, ensuring it is prepared and ready for collection. Work closely with the onsite security team to coordinate and manage the arrival of visitors and contractors to the building and ensure they are promptly collected by their designated hosts To ensure we continue delivering excellence and innovation in animal health, additional duties of a similar nature may be required, including providing support to the Executive Assistant as needed. All tasks should be completed to the same high standard. Personal attributes: Qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge and competencies required to fulfil the role The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and a confident, professional manner to the role. They should possess sound IT knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, along with proven organisational and time‑management abilities. A recognised qualification in administration or customer service is beneficial, supported by experience in a front‑facing or busy office environment. This individual will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively while remaining calm under pressure. A thorough understanding of confidentiality, customer care, and workplace professionalism is essential, along with the competency to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
