The project: This post has the responsibility to ensure delivery or part-delivery of the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the overall Project schedule. This post will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project. The Senior Project Manager reports directly to a Delivery Manager and is responsible for the direction and leadership of all activities associated with the full life cycle delivery of a major contract or contracts assigned to them. You’ll be responsible for: Delivering projects end‑to‑end with robust quality systems, meeting programme milestones and client commitments. Managing budgets, risks and governance, maintaining integrity while supporting sustainable business growth. Managing teams and stakeholders collaboratively, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement. Mobilising project management, technical and external resources, collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors to deliver outcomes. Managing projects safely end‑to‑end, embedding safety first, quality systems, programmes and governance across all stages. Procuring and managing design teams, budgets, risks, change control and stakeholder communications. Driving performance against plans and KPIs, coordinating handover, innovation and best practice across Mace networks. You’ll need to have: Extensive project management experience on medium‑scale or complex construction projects. Proven leadership in delivering projects through the construction phase. Chartered professional status (MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE or equivalent). Relevant degree or equivalent experience, supported by valid CSCS (or local equivalent).
