Role Overview
I am seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team based in Goole. This role involves managing payroll processes end‑to‑end, supporting clients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while working to strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing payroll from gross to net
* Submitting payroll information to HMRC in a timely and accurate manner
* Calculating statutory payments (including SSP, SMP, etc.)
* Managing BACS transmissions
* Preparing and issuing P45s and P60s
* Liaising directly with clients to handle queries and provide support
* Resolving payroll‑related issues efficiently
* Supporting the wider team with general payroll duties
* Ensuring all work is completed within tight deadlines
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year's experience in a payroll role
* Strong understanding of payroll processes and associated tasks
* Knowledge of Auto Enrolment
* Good IT skills and confidence using payroll systems
