An opportunity has arisen at Claygate Primary School for a reliable and flexible Assistant Caretaker to join our team, who is keen to make a difference and assist with maintaining the premises and grounds to a high standard. Job overview As a key part of our site team, you’ll work 5pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday (7.5hrs per week) and have responsibility for locking up and site security in the evenings, general site maintenance, using a varied skillset to carry out tasks such as cleaning, refilling consumables, and manual handling, as well as ensuring the site is in a good condition for all to work and learn effectively. Job requirements A good standard of written and spoken EnglishBasic IT skills Good standard of maintenance and DIY experience with an understanding of health and safety parameters Ability to prioritise and plan own workload Why join us?
