We support and improve security tooling, including firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption. We monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents. We manage core network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Layer 2 and Layer 3, remote access, and load balancing. We run vulnerability checks and ensure patching is kept up to date. We use SIEM tools to identify and act on potential threats early. We support audits, access controls, and compliance requirements. We get involved in and lead security and infrastructure projects. We keep documentation and processes up to date. We work with third-party suppliers where needed. We support disaster recovery and business continuity planning. We work occasional weekends when needed and take part in an on-call operational rota.
