Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? Our Alternative Provision School in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our team and inspire young learners through art.
You'll be working with small groups of up-to a maximum of 6 students at a time in a unique learning environment at an Academy rated by OFSTED as 'Good' in all areas, with Outstanding Features. This well-funded, small school of only 50 students has excellent facilities and resources with parking available on site.

Have recent teaching experience and good references.
Be passionate about teaching and have strong classroom management skills.
Be offered a fixed, temporary contract for the rest of this academic year (with the possibility of permanent employment after 1 year)
Be paid in-line with the Main Pay Scale for London Fringe (£33,074 - £50,470 PA on the qualified teacher scale)
Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply if you have relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging Art lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Help students achieve their full potential by providing guidance on creative techniques and processes.
Develop and maintain individual education plans for students.
Regularly assess and monitor progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support a collaborative learning environment.Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but we welcome applications from experienced Art teachers.
Experience teaching Art at any level.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective classroom and behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
