MOT Tester - Ilkeston
1. Salary: £40,000 basic salary
2. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm | Alternate Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm

This is a MOT testing role with minimal servicing or repair work involved, making it ideal for somebody who enjoys focusing solely on MOT inspections and delivering accurate, high-quality work within a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities as a MOT Tester will include
10. Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
11. Ensure all testing is completed accurately and efficiently
12. Maintain high standards of safety and compliance at all times
13. Complete MOT documentation and records correctly
14. Identify and report vehicle defects professionally
15. Work independently while maintaining workshop standards
Requirements that the MOT Tester will need:
16. Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA licence
17. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
18. Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
19. Comfortable working independently in a busy MOT environment
20. Good understanding of DVSA testing standards and procedures
21. Full UK driving licence preferred
