We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to assemble components accurately.
* Perform roofing, plumbing, welding, and electrical tasks as required by specific projects.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out construction tasks including carpentry, plastering, masonry, and fabrication.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in the training of junior staff as necessary, sharing expertise in various fitting techniques.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, carpentry, plastering, masonry, and fabrication techniques.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction settings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £24,420.00-£53,446.39 per year
