Specialist Support Practitioner PC

Newcastle College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Specialist Support Practitioners to join a passionate team that supports the achievements of students with additional learning needs and disabilities. Two of the roles will be part of the access team for part of the week and the other part will be supporting students within the classroom environment. * Help students access campus and curriculum
* Support awareness raising and understanding of access and inclusion
What We’re Looking For
* A warm, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
* Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)
* Flexibility to work evenings and support off‑site provision
* Experience of supporting individuals with personal care needs
* Willingness to develop skills to support individuals with complex personal care needs (with training and support required)
