Description:
We’re seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Landscape Architect with strong Landscape Planning and LVIA expertise to join our growing design team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of our new landscape team, develop your career, and contribute to projects across sectors including urban regeneration, new town settlements, tall buildings, residential/mixed‑use greenfield development, commercial, infrastructure, and energy at various planning stages.

The role:
You’ll work within our nationwide design team of masterplanners and urban designers, based in Birmingham with collaboration across our UK wide teams. While primarily focused on landscape planning, you’ll also have scope to develop your design skills.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Strategic analysis and early‑stage advice
* Establishing design‑led landscape visions
* Landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments
* Public consultations
* Client and project team engagement
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise needed:
* Preliminary landscape and visual appraisals
* LVIA and townscape assessments (including tall buildings)
* Landscape strategies and conceptual design
* Green Belt/Grey Belt assessments
* Capacity, sensitivity, and character studies
* Contributions to Vision Documents, DAS, and Design Codes
Qualifications & Skills
* Ideally CMLI (or working towards Chartership with P2C support)
* Strong knowledge of UK planning and environmental policy
* Ability to develop designs, produce reports, and use industry software confidently
