Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Beacon House is a care home which provides 24-hour support to 8 adults with learning disabilities in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Help transform lives like J s. Hi, I m J and I reside in the Beacon House Project with 7 other people. I have a learning disability, and physical conditions which affect my health. I enjoy taking part in music class, listening to music and playing my guitar. I like to be the boss, and I regularly attend my club at the Glenburn where I help the staff, play bingo and have a nice lunch.
