About The Role We're currently seeking a skilled Craftsperson to join our team, supporting critical infrastructure projects across the Gas and Oil & Gas sectors. This role involves hands-on mechanical work in high-stakes environments, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of essential services. What you’ll be doing You'll be responsible for executing a range of mechanical tasks including: Under pressure drilling Shot blasting Coating application Composite repairs Technical bolting You'll also play a key role in promoting safety and operational excellence by: Leading Toolbox Talks (TBTs) Ensuring team understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Collaborating with site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery In addition to this, you'll participate in a standby rota once fully trained. About You You'll be a proactive and safety-conscious professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You'll bring a collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team, strong communication and leadership skills and a commitment to high standards of safety and quality. You'll also have the confidence to lead by example and support others in understanding safety protocols. Key Requirements & Experience Proven experience in Gas or Oil & Gas environments Hands-on expertise in the listed mechanical techniques Strong understanding of safety protocols and RAMS interpretation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working knowledge of CDM regulations - desirable Full UK car driving licence Security clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
