Art Graduate Teaching Assistant

A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Camden, North London, is seeking a passionate Art Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

About the Role:

As an Art Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will assist in delivering engaging art lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help nurture students’ creativity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the delivery of Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Assist students with practical work across a range of mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art)
* Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help
* Help prepare materials, maintain the art studio, and support exhibitions
* Encourage creativity, participation, and positive behaviour in lessons

What We’re Looking For:

* A 2:1 or above in an Art or Creative-related degree
* A genuine passion for education and the arts
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude
* Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
