About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Site Agent
to play a key role on a major highways development in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile infrastructure project, where you will take ownership of site delivery while supporting and mentoring the wider engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing
As Site Agent, you will:
* Lead and mentor Site Engineers and Section Engineers, helping to develop the next generation of talent.
* Drive the construction phase in collaboration with the Project Manager, ensuring the project progresses on time and within budget.
* Take responsibility for managing, allocating, and controlling site resources.
* Work closely with planning teams to ensure accurate programme data and reporting.
* Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost, and programme targets are met.
* Uphold the highest standards of Health & Safety across the site, fostering a strong safety culture.
* Monitor compliance with contractual, environmental, and quality requirements.
* Chair and contribute to weekly and monthly site meetings.
* Prepare and maintain site records, briefings, diaries, and close-out documentation.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency through the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a Site Agent or Senior Engineer role within civil engineering, ideally on highways or major infrastructure projects.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate others.
* A track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
