Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Brighouse for a Trainee CNC, Laser Cutting and General Production Operative.
The successful candidate will be provided full training to become responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and components, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications on various types of material including MDF, plastics, styrene's and aluminium composite.
Qualifications or Experience
Any qualifications in Mechanical or Design Engineering, Vinyl wrapping and Installations would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
* Quality Control
: Conduct routine inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
* Maintenance
: Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
* Stock Control –
Having the ability to produce monthly stock takes on all materials, control the locations of stock and utilising part sheets when planning jobs to reduce costs.
* Health and Safety –
Adopt and maintain our Health and Safety protocol including following approved procedures, wearing the correct PPE and always maintaining a strong housekeeping policy.
* Flexibility
– This role includes opportunities to gain experience in other areas of the business including Laser Cutting and Heat Bending and offers overtime opportunities as and when the business requires sometimes at short notice.
* Vinyl wrapping and Installations –
Experience in mounting vinyl to various substrates and signage installation would be a definite advantage.
* Problem Solving-
Ability to troubleshoot and address issues during the machining process.
Standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.30am-16.30pm (with 30mins lunch) but extra paid hours will be required depending on workload and the candidate would be expected to occasionally work these at short notice.
Installation work would also be offered and paid accordingly at a premium as this includes nighttime and weekend working.
