Job Title: IT Applications Manager
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: Up to £80,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, functional consultants, and technical staff, conducting performance reviews, set objectives etc .
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of implementation and upgrade projects
Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and timelines
Ensure systems are suitable with our environment working with the Enterprise/Data and Solution architects
Liaise with product owners, business functions, and other IT teams to align development with business needs
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend adoption were beneficial
You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Knowledge of key applications, Oracle ERP, Siemens Teamcenter Unified, MSBI, Manufacturing Execution Systems
Understanding of cyber security principles and compliance standards
Experience in application management, with demonstrable experience in a leadership role
Proven track record of delivering IT projects successfully
Strong knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile and Waterfall
Desirable:
Experience of Atlassian product suite – Jira, Confluence, JSM

The IT Development team:
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will lead a talented team of Oracle Functional Consultants, Oracle Developers and Microsoft Technology Developers. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing resources, scheduling work and ensuring successful project delivery, all while maintaining strict security compliance.
