An IT consultancy specialising in providing data-driven solutions in the supply chain sector is seeking a Project Support Officer to support the planning, coordination, and governance of projects and programmes across the business. The PMO Support Officer will have previous experience supporting within a multi-project environment, strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of project management methodologies. Additionally, you will be proficient in using project management tools and a proactive and adaptable approach to collaboration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
 * Provide day-to-day support to project and programme teams across a diverse range of initiatives
 * Assist in maintaining project documentation, plans, reports, and registers (e.g. risk, issue, action, decision logs)
 * Support the PMO in monitoring progress, tracking milestones, and producing regular performance reports
 * Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and governance forums, including preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
 * Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements
 * Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and tools
 * Assist in resource tracking, financial reporting, and project forecasting activities
 * Support stakeholder communications and maintain effective working relationships across teams
 * Support day-to-day operations and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when required
 * Provide general administrative and practical support
 * Contribute to continuous improvement
 * Maintain a proactive and dependable approach
 * Travel to customer sites and other locations when required
Knowledge, skills and qualifications
Essential:
 * Experience providing project or PMO support within a multi-project environment
 * Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
 * Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent)
 * Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
 * Proactive and adaptable approach with a focus on collaboration and delivery
Desirable:
 * Relevant qualification or certification in project management or administration
Salary: £32,000 to £45,000 DOE
