Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (includes some weekend work – 1 in 3 or as business requires)
Shifts: 07:00–14:30 / 11:45–18:15
Salary: £14.00 per hour

Join Our Catering Team at Sparsholt College
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dedicated catering team at Sparsholt College. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive environment with a great work-life balance — including no split shifts and Christmas & New Year off due to College closure.
As Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, supporting the production of high-quality meals across all service times. You'll be passionate about food, thrive in a busy environment, and bring enthusiasm and creativity to everything you do.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing and cooking a range of dishes to a high standard, following recipes and ensuring quality and consistency
* Managing your section efficiently during service, maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
* Supporting the Head Chef with menu execution and service delivery
* Monitoring food storage, rotation, and wastage to ensure efficiency and compliance
* Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Participating in training and development as required
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role
* A team player who communicates well and supports others
* Passionate about hospitality and delivering great service
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
* Flexible to work a 5 over 7 rota, including some weekends
* Reliable and trustworthy with a can-do attitude

Additional Information:
