We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teachers to join a pool of supply teaching staff in Abingdon. You will inspire students to explore the natural world, delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity and a love of science.
Duties as Biology Teacher:
* Teach Biology across KS3 and KS4 following the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that support students of all abilities.
* Assess, record and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Maintain a safe and well-organised laboratory environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Contribute to the wider life of the science department, including clubs, trips and enrichment activities.
Ideal Biology Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology, with the ability to teach related sciences if required.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Biology Teacher.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
* Passion for inspiring young people to achieve their best in science.
