Role
As a Electrical Production Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll lead and motivate skilled operational teams delivering complex marine engineering work. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to the right quality standards, and within budget - directly supporting vital naval and defence programmes.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Leading and motivating production teams to safely deliver defined packages of work
* Managing resources and workloads to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements
* Setting and monitoring daily production targets and operational performance
* Embedding safe working practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
* Taking ownership of activity levels, attendance standards, and operational discipline
Essential Experience
* Experience working with mechanical and electrical marine installations, such as pumps, valves, pipework, engines, rudders, and stabilisers
* Ability to read and interpret installation and engineering drawings
* Proven experience supervising teams in a production or engineering environment
* Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with risk assessment and accident reporting processes
Qualifications
* Time‑served with extensive, recent experience in a mechanical or engineering discipline
* ONC or HNC in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
