The Role
We are looking for a confident and patient-focused Dispensing Optician to join the team and help deliver outstanding optical care in a fast-paced setting.
You will be responsible for providing expert dispensing advice, supporting patients with frame and lens choices, and ensuring a smooth, high-quality patient journey from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense spectacles and optical appliances accurately and professionally Provide tailored advice on frames, lenses, and coatings Deliver exceptional customer service and aftercare Work collaboratively with optometrists and support staff Maintain high clinical and compliance standards Contribute positively to a busy, high-performing practice About You
GOC-registered Dispensing Optician Comfortable working in a busy, high-footfall practice Friendly, professional, and patient-focused Strong communication and attention to detail Team player with a positive attitude What's on Offer
Salary around £36,000 (flexible for the right candidate) Free parking 5.6 weeks holiday + bank holidays (rising to 6.6 weeks after 5 years) Flexible working pattern: work the hours of 10 days across 9 days and enjoy an extra day off Supportive, experienced team Secure role in a large, successful, and growing independent practice How to Apply
