ABOUT THE ROLE As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. Main duties of the job

As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will manage and attend to the diverse needs of residents, ensuring we provide high-quality, individual-centered care and support. Key responsibilities include leading a team of care staff, conducting training sessions, overseeing staff supervision, and ensuring duty delegation during shifts. Additionally, you will handle the administration and procurement of medication, regularly update and review resident care plans alongside risk assessments, and collaborate closely with general practitioners, district nursing units, and family members of residents. A successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, relevant experience in residential care, effective team leadership skills, and the capacity to make sound decisions to benefit the wellbeing of our residents. ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our Residents.
