The Commis Chef must also have a can do attitude in all aspects of assisting the smooth operations of daily kitchen tasks. Easily fit in and engaging positively and team members. They must also be able to follow instruction and assist the kitchen team in any tasks necessary. Cleaning proficiency is a must. This role is to assist both breakfast shift hours and also working evenings, weekends and weekdays. This job Is for 30 hours per week, May be required to work more depending on business needs.
Education & Experience
o Experience is preferred and would ideally be 1-3 years in similar role.
o Experience within a major global brand is preferred.
o NVQ Level 2/3 or similar vocations would be preferred.
o Experience of working within structured team environment and able to demonstrate effective influencing skills.
o Commercially driven
o Highly motivated, enthusiastic and good team player.
o Driven and determined to achieve results.
o Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and engage effectively at all levels.
o Remain focused at all times and able to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
o Basic knowledge of handling, and preparing poultry.
