Role Description
This role supports Global Markets and Global Corporate & Investment Banking businesses by completing KYC/CDD checks and maintaining client records. The analyst will complete the AML KYC/CDD operational process on assigned clients and become a technical expert in KYC/CDD procedures. New procedures and initiatives will be regularly implemented, offering opportunities to contribute to change.
Responsibilities
* Conduct client due diligence and enhanced due diligence in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
* Perform KYC/CDD checks on clients within standard cycles and those outside standard cycles due to changes in client or jurisdictional requirements.
* Liaise with sales/client outreach teams to obtain and validate correct documentation.
* Perform client refresh/remediation through review of documentation, vendor databases, and data entered into proprietary systems.
* Participate in internal and external audits and quality checks.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in Anti-Money Laundering, Know Your Customer/Client Due Diligence, or related fields such as Compliance, Risk Management, or Financial Crimes.
* Experience performing in a process‑oriented production environment that changes periodically.
* Ability to organise work, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Additional Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
* Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
