Overview of the Role
We are seeking a qualified Heating Surveyor to play a pivotal role in assessing domestic properties and recommending heating solutions that meet regulatory standards and customer needs. This position combines technical expertise, customer service, and attention to detail to ensure every installation is safe, compliant, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Assessment: Conduct detailed heating system surveys, evaluating existing systems and recommending upgrades or new installations.
* Customer Service Excellence: Engage with customers, understand their requirements, and provide clear, informed advice.
* Compliance Adherence: Ensure all surveys comply with industry standards, building regulations, and health & safety protocols.
* Documentation Accuracy: Prepare precise reports, cost estimates, and documentation for installation teams.
* Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, and installation teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest heating technologies and regulatory changes.
Required Attributes
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent.
* ACS accreditations (CCN1, CENWAT) preferred.
* Practical experience in heating system surveys or domestic installations.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with excellent report-writing ability.
* Full UK driving licence.
