Role Description
1. Preparation of the cash funding positions for the day.
2. Cash flow forecasting & cash management across the group.
3. Liaise with the FX/IR risk team and recommend funding and investment requirements.
4. Bank account balance reporting and bank account administration.
5. Control of banking account services agreements and general banking requirements.
6. Quantitative analysis of APAR including physical and financial settlements.
7. Monitoring, investigation and reporting of daily late payments to assist payments team, credit and contracts department.
8. Controlling the settlement process for treasury related payments. Liaising with the payments team and contracts team to ensure energy settlements are managed.
9. Assist with payment verification and authorisation.
10. Project work on process improvement and automation
11. Understanding of systems, position management and MtM valuation processes.
12. Use business and commercial awareness to proactively seek solutions
13. Understanding of treasury products to assist with risk management.
14. Preparation of reports
15. Adherence to internal policies, processes and methodologies.

16. Strong analytical, attention-to-detail and organisational skills with focus on time management under tight deadlines.
17. Confident and autonomous individual being able to provide good communication/feedback to manager, motivated and resilient.
18. General financial and risk management awareness.
19. Genuine interest in pursuing a career in treasury.
20. Studied or willing to learn - ACT / Accounting or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage.
21. A proactive ‘can do’ attitude is important, as is the ability to use initiative to appraise and improve existing processes. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
