Job Title: SEN Teacher

Daily Rate: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are currently looking for a committed and experienced SEN Teacher to work in a specialist provision in Leeds. This role involves teaching children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will be responsible for delivering creative, personalised lessons that support both academic and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons based on pupils’ individual needs and EHCPs
* Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
* Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals
* Implement behaviour management and communication strategies
* Track and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
* Proven experience working with SEN pupils in a school or alternative provision
* Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding
* Confident using strategies like PECS, Makaton, or sensory integration (desirable)
* Calm, resilient, and flexible in your approach
