Position
Quantity Surveyor – A417 Missing Link Road major project team, Gloucester (Air Balloon, Gloucestershire). Work includes some remote work with office travel required.
Hours & Salary
45 hours per week – flexible hours may be available. Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + excellent benefits.
Location
A417 Missing Link at Air Balloon, Gloucestershire (travel to office required, some remote working available).

What will you be responsible for?
* Preparing valuations, claims, and budget monitoring reports to track contract performance
* Working with operational counterparts to prepare and issue contractual notices to subcontractors
* Managing change control with subcontractors in accordance with NEC4 procedures
* Supporting the assessment and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks
* Maximising cash flow through effective measurement, valuation, and invoicing processes
* Building strong relationships with subcontractors and ensuring timely payments
What are we looking for?
* Relevant qualifications – a degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable
* Experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector
* Confidence using IT systems, particularly MS Excel
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach across teams
* Well organised, adaptable, and able to manage time and priorities effectively
