We're seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our Safeguarding Adults Service on a part time basis.
In this role you will provide strong, effective leadership to ensure high quality safeguarding practice, timely decision making and a consistent approach to risk management. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, wider management team and multi agency partners to deliver a responsive and person centred service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and supervise a team of safeguarding professionals.
* Oversee complex safeguarding enquires and ensure compliance responsibilities
* Provide professional oversight and guidance in line with the Care Act 2014 and local safeguarding procedures.
* Manage workflow, team performance and quality assurance activities.
* Develop strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Support service development.
What We're Looking For
* A Social Work qualification with current Social Work England registration.
* Experience of managing or supporting staff and a proven ability to prioritise workloads in a fast paced environment.
* Confidence in leading safeguarding practice, decision making and risk management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Strong IT, data interpretation and analytical skills, especially using Excel, MS Team and Liquid Logic.
* A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business use.
