CareerMakers Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Accrington who are looking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator with strong export licensing knowledge to support their busy team. This is a key role within the business, with significant responsibility for export compliance and international order processing. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution * Manage material requirements planning (MRP) using SPIRE and LITE systems to ensure timely availability of components and raw materials * Monitor and maintain accurate data within SPIRE and LITE, including purchase orders, stock levels, and supplier information * Liaise with internal departments (engineering, production, quality, and logistics) to align supply chain activities with project timelines * Raise, track, and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery from approved suppliers * Analyse supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and risk mitigation * Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and obsolescence management * Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives * Prepare and maintain documentation and reports using SPIRE and LITE * Coordinate logistics activities, including shipping, customs documentation, and delivery scheduling * Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, particularly in relation to critical or long-lead-time components * Collaborate with quality teams to ensure materials meet required specifications * Assist in demand forecasting and production planning to support business objectives and customer requirements * Provide support during audits by ensuring all supply chain data in SPIRE and LITE is accurate and up to date About You We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of export compliance responsibilities. You will have: * Proven experience working as a Supply Chain Coordinator (or similar role) * Hands-on experience using SPIRE and LITE systems is essential * Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain processes * Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Experience with inventory management, procurement, and supplier coordination Working Hours: - Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm Friday, 7am - 12pm Pay rate: Negotiable DOE If you are interested in the role, and have the relevant experience please apply with your CV or give us a call on (phone number removed)
