Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking for a rewarding career? G4S Facilities Management is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham.
What we offer:
* Competitive Salary: From £43,469.83 Per Annum

* Full-Time: 42 hours/week, 2 day shifts [7am - 7pm], 2 night shifts [7pm - 7am], 4 days off.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing a range of mechanical engineering services, including:
* Respond to defects, identify root causes, and undertake statutory and routine inspections of mechanical plant.
* Conduct all work to high standards, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to SLA, KPIs, site policies, and Health and Safety regulations.
* Monitor and utilize PDA devices for service delivery.
* Identify and requisition materials for maintenance work orders.
* Proactively identify opportunities for continuous service improvement.
* Oversee and escort contractors, ensuring satisfactory work in line with risk assessments, method statements, and contract KPIs.
* Support a safe, clean, and healthy working environment.
* Develop and maintain client relationships.
* Adhere to corporate safety and security policies.
* Maintain a professional attitude and image.
Who we are looking for:
* Essential:
o NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering
o Microsoft Office proficiency
o Ability to obtain DV clearance
o Previous experience in a facilities maintenance environment
* Desirable:
o Mechanical to electrical conversion course
o IPAF or equivalent certification
o NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
