Responsibilities
As an Adjusting Executive, you will serve as the first point of contact for claimants, guiding customers through the claims process. You will decipher details, recommend settlements, collaborate with contractors, and keep claimants informed, supported, and confident. You will translate policy terms and loss assessments into clear guidance and coordinate with stakeholders such as structural engineers and restoration specialists.
Qualifications
* Experience managing property claims in a commercial claims environment.
* Excellent communication skills – ability to speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more.
* Strong interpersonal skills with empathy, initiative, and independent thinking.
* Conscientious, hardworking, flexible, and adaptable during high volume periods.
Skills Developed
* Comprehensive training specific to Sedgwick roles.
* Opportunities to work toward CILA certification from the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
