We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated People Development Assistant to join our People Directorate. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the learning, development and engagement experience of colleagues across Connexus. Every day will be varied - from coordinating training events, keeping our learning systems up to date, supporting induction and early careers programmes, to helping colleagues access the development they need to grow. You’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for people development enquiries, helping colleagues feel supported, informed and valued. If you enjoy being at the heart of a busy, people focused team and take pride in delivering excellent service, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for someone who is: Interested in learning and development Approachable, supportive and customer focused Technically confident and comfortable using digital systems Proactive, adaptable and able to prioritise in a busy environment Skills & experience you’ll need: Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role Experience using Microsoft Office, People systems or an LMS (desirable) and maintaining accurate data Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required Shortlisting date: 16 February 2026 Interview date: TBC About ConnexusConnexus is a rural housing association with its heritage in Shropshire and Herefordshire, providing good quality, affordable and safe homes that customers are proud to live in.
