Leading Sports and Bike specialist retailer are looking to hire an experienced Bicycle Mechanic / Technician

As a Bike Mechanic or Multisport Technician, you’ll be a vital part of why the customers keep coming back. Your expertise will ensure that every product, (bikes will make up around 85% of your work), is serviced and repaired to the highest standard, performing like new for longer.
Your core responsibilities will include:
* In-depth Diagnosis: Identifying technical faults on customer products with precision and recommending the most appropriate solution to the customer.
* Expert Servicing & Repair: Performing comprehensive services and repairs on bicycles
* Customer-Centric Service: Ensuring every customer receives an exceptional service experience, offering advice and building trust.
* Operational Savvy: Efficiently managing stock, ordering necessary components, and maintaining accurate workshop records.
* Quality Assurance: Adhering to the highest standards of workmanship and safety in all repairs and builds.
* Business Acumen: Contributing to business performance analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Your skills
You're more than just a mechanic; you're a skilled technician with a deep understanding of sports equipment and a genuine love for helping people enjoy their passions.
Sports Enthusiast: Your love for sports is evident in everything you do.
Mechanical Mastery: Cytech Level 2 or beyond certification is desirable, or you possess equivalent demonstrable experience in a relevant environment. Experience with other sports equipment is a significant advantage.
Detail-Oriented Problem Solver: You have a keen eye for detail, can accurately diagnose complex issues, and find effective, lasting solutions.
Clear Communicator: You can clearly explain technical issues to customers, providing transparent advice and quotes.
