MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Working with senior stakeholders to deliver annual budget, 5 year plan and periodic forecasts (for both internal and external stakeholders),
* Deliver monthly analysis on key financial metrics, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow in order to prepare monthly financial executive reports and periodic Board reports
* Analysis, interpretation and explanation of variances to budget on a monthly basis
* Support acquisition programme, including integration of new acquisitions into the Group structure and Group budgets & forecasts
* Work closely with the financial reporting and investor relations teams to support the external reporting cycle; including analysis and insightful commentary for inclusion in results statements and investor presentations
* Provide support to manage relationships with external stakeholders including banking partners and analysts including the preparation of bank covenants for external stakeholders
* Work with Business units and Group subsidiaries to provide insight on key commercial decisions
* Understand the key “levers” within the business and focus on extrapolating and understanding trends to deliver business insights
* Work on ad-hoc projects and transaction analysis as required
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
* Ambitious commercially minded ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 1-2 years post qualification experience
* High level of computer literacy with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Ability to work with significant volumes of data to investigate and arrive at a point which allows an information-based decision to be made
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Ability to build relationships across the group and wider finance and non-finance teams
* Capable of working on their own to deliver results under time pressures
