12 hour shifts, days and nights, 6 to 6 rotation

The Role
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently across a fast-paced FMCG site.
You will be responsible for:
Fault finding on PLC controlled production machinery
Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
Diagnosing electrical faults on motors, drives, inverters, sensors and control panels
Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis to reduce downtime
Working closely with production to maximise line efficiency and performance
Maintaining high engineering standards within a food manufacturing environment
The Person
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias
Experience within FMCG, food, drink, packaging or high-speed manufacturing
Confident fault finding on automated machinery and control systems
Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure
Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Desirable:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience working with PLC systems such as Siemens or Allen Bradley
Understanding of HACCP, BRC and food safety standards
