Senior Compliance Manager - Advisory

We’re now looking for a highly skilled Senior Compliance Manager - Advisory to join our Conduct & Compliance team.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our senior regulatory adviser, you’ll be the go‑to expert for FCA requirements, Consumer Duty expectations, and emerging regulatory change. You’ll work closely with leaders, product teams, and project groups to ensure decisions are compliant, well‑informed, and aligned to our values. You will:
* Provide clear, expert regulatory guidance to help business areas understand and meet their FCA obligations.
* Partner with product and operational teams to ensure services remain compliant, fair, and aligned to Consumer Duty.
* Represent Conduct & Compliance at senior forums, projects, and incident reviews, offering authoritative regulatory insight.
* Lead horizon scanning activity, identifying regulatory changes and supporting timely implementation across the Bank.
* Shape responses to FCA consultation and discussion papers.
* Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures that reflect best practice.
* Prepare high‑quality governance and regulatory papers for senior committees and deputise for the Head of Conduct & Compliance when required.
* Support accurate and timely regulatory reporting through close collaboration with 1st line teams.
* Review and approve financial promotions and customer communications, ensuring clarity, fairness, and compliance.
* Lead the design and delivery of regulatory training to strengthen understanding and capability across the organisation.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in FCA regulation, advisory compliance, or conduct risk.
* Confidence engaging with senior leaders and challenging constructively.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret regulatory change with clarity.
* Experience preparing governance papers or advising on regulatory matters at committee level.
* A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risk and drive continuous improvement.
* A commitment to good customer outcomes and a strong compliance culture.
